newsletters and so we have introduced this format on our website that
will reduce the size of e-mails and eliminate the need for attachments

provided. We hope you will find these changes helpful.
And,
we hope you will bring your favourite detox strategies and join us for
Detox Day and Dragonfly Cafe on December 10th. If you want to
help with the organizing or postering for this event, join us at the

What a contrast!
Write to us at
crowinc@mts.net for details on how to write to Ottawa city councillors,
as they will vote on a pesticide by-law on Wednesday, November 9th.
Meanwhile, Winnipeg
considers turfing its Civic Environment
Committee. What an
outrage!
Please write to the
Mayor and councillors at "silly hall" to show your support for the
Civic Environment Committee. You will find Winnipeg councillors
addresses here:

USDA Seeks Public
Comment on Genetically Engineered
Grass
(Beyond Pesticides, October 28, 2005) In an October 12, 2005 Federal

an environmental impact statement as part of its
consideration of a petition received from Monsanto and the Scotts
Company to deregulate genetically engineered (GE) “RoundUp
Ready”
creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera). USDA will be taking public
comments until November 14, 2005.
