The foggers are at it again!  Need haven from nightly nerve toxin distribution?
Here's a preliminary video clip produced for a local malathion documentary.

Every year we have to
 BUFFER UP!
Send your buffer application to Insect Control Branch, or on the
bugline website you can register, read fogging updates and public notices
Buffer registration forms are also at libraries, in the Leisure Guide and in the telephone book.

There's always hope this will be the year they will smarten up but if not,
CBC tells you how to protect yourself in the fog.
They also tell us Winnipeg did not keep its promise of ecological insect control.

Media Reports and Press Releases Take Action
want to contact a politician?

Public pressure does affect policy decisions.  Let your views be known:

Tell Winnipeg's entomologist Children are outside at 9:30 pm!  986-3210

Canada's PMRA registers these poisons.  E-mail exposure symptoms to them.

West Nile virus fogging is ludicrous!  Toxic malathion compromises immune systems.
Contact Manitoba's Chief Medical Officer of Health, Joel Kettner (204) 788-6666
and the Minister of Health, Honourable Teresa Oswald (204) 945-3731

Then call Winnipeg City Hall:  986-2171.  Tell them:
 STOP POISONING US withpdfneurotoxic,pdfimmunotoxic,pdfgenotoxic
poisons like malathion and dursban which breakdown and become more toxic
AND MAY PERMANENTLY ALTER THE DEVELOPING BRAIN OF A HUMAN FOETUS.
And adopt a real pesticide  by-law because neighbours shouldn't poison us either.
